Thank you everyone for your kind words. We have been overwhelmed by the amount of phone calls and messages we have been receiving! It just goes to show how great a man Bryan is and how much he is so loved by so many people from so many places.
We will relay all of these comments to Bryan as we believe it will boost his motivation enormously. Its difficult for him at the moment isolated in ICU, he cannot begin to understand how much support we are all recieving.
He was looking better today but is still heavily sedated and was very exhausted by the end of the day. It is expected that he will be in ICU for a little longer unitl his chest infection is under control and the ventilator is removed.
Will update you tomorrow, hopefully each day we will note progress he is making toward recovery.
Much love and thanks
Julie, Becca and Erin

Dear Brian, Julie, Bec and Erin.
ReplyDeleteWe're all thinking of you and your family Bryan, and send our best wishes for your speedy recovery and return home. We can't imagine what you all must be going through but keep positive. If there's anything at all that we can do to help, just ask.
All the best. Teagan, Kerry, Craig and Ben
Bryan,
ReplyDeleteBonny and I are struggling to absorb this news, and you have been foremost in my thoughts for the past few days. I have been remembering many of our shared times over the past days. I will never forget riding across town in the freezing toowoomba morning's to get me out of bed ,then follow me to school. back across town encouraging me all the way, a strong hand in the middle of my back pushing me up the hills. I would look out the classroom window at 3.00pm to see you waiting there in your Hiace ready to take me practicing all afternoon ( and checking out the school girls ! ) I have very fond memories of these times.
I only wish now with hindsight that I had half your MOTIVATION to train hard and look after my body.
Thank's again for manipulating and massaging my back at Classic Dirt this year so that I could enjoy riding each day as much as you we're.
I will always remember our "3 hour"
mountain bike ride last christmas. Here you we're encouraging me all the way , telling me off for allowing myself to get so out of shape, and with a strong hand in the middle of my back pushing me up the hills almost 25 years later. I hope with all my heart that we get to do it again.
You are a champion and an inspiration Bryan.
Jon and Bonny
